• The Smallest Church in England, St Olaf's at Wasdale Head - sad features of the tiny churchyard are the graves of climbers killed on the surrounding mountains
• A gentle stroll around the valley head, visiting the old pack horse bridge over the beck behind the hotel

• The Ravenglass to Eskdale Railway
• Muncaster Castle
• The Beautiful Ennerdale Valley
